Inspiration

This animation was inspired by my love of music. The ability it has to essentially seep into your soul and light something up.

I was feeling a little lack-luster so I decided to put one of my favorite songs on repeat and create a quick animation – just for fun – that could capture this feeling* that a good song does for me. I wanted to work with a playful and energetic color palette that could align with the purpose of being "fun" while still speaking to the moodiness I was feeling by keeping my character (myself) a cooler, blue-toned purple. 

*the profound ability to rein me in and renew a sense of spirit.
